On Definitions and the like
Definition - a description of the features and limits of something I am a black-haired, squinty-eyed, once-petite, ex-evangelical Singaporean Chinese, cis-gendered female of Peranakan heritage living in Melbourne, Australia. I am limited by height, stomach capacity, the mid-thirties, joint-pain, impatience and occasional inebriation. Other limitations include social awkwardness and anxiety, occasional bouts of imposter syndrome and a debilitating fear of judgement and failure. Less prominent features that have developed over the years include a desire for social justice and equity; a strong belief in the ability of food to break down barriers; and an unwavering confidence in the power of stories to open minds.
